Virtana acquires OpsCruise Brings Observability to Kubernetes Cluster

Virtana has acquired OpsCruise, a Kubernetes observability platform that uses machine learning models to observe the Kubernetes Cluster and also predicts possible performance issues.

With this acquisition Virtana brings machine learning based Kubernetes observability platform to its portfolio. All the machine learning and deep learning capability is with Vietnam after the acquisition of OpsCruise. Virtana is able to use Kubernetes Observability in its offering.

OpsCruise investments and achievements in the LMMs, artificial intelligence (AI) will accelerate the product road map of Virtana product. OpsCruise has been into LLMs and AI product development for the last several years.

Virtana is into IT infrastructure management platform service and its IT infrastructure management platform is very popular among the enterprise businesses. Company will be adding Kubernetes morning solutions to its service.

Today cloud-native environment is very complex with thousands of web services and other applications running on the cloud cluster. Managing thousands of microservices is very difficult and it requires automated tools for monitoring, scaling, restarting and redeployment in a much more intelligent way. Kuberntes cluster is being used to deploy and run cloud-native applications on the cloud servers. Observability Platforms promises to help IT admin in managing the cluster more efficiently and with more predictability. The Observability platform helps in predicting performance degradation of the cluster and to help in stopping outages.

The Observability service also collects server metrics, logs and traces to help in the infestations of the various events on the server more efficiently. OpsCruise  uses LLMs specially trained on the server data, due to this such models are well capable of managing the cluster.

Such AI systems coupled with the LLMs trained on the server logs and events are capable of managing IT Infrastructure. Using such system problems can be identified quality and in advance. These statistics can be used for the predictive maintenance of the cloud-infrastructure making it highly scalable and highly available.

On the cloud platform, Kubernetes is one of the most used platforms for deploying and running applications. Most of the organisations are already using Kubernetes to run their workloads. It is becoming difficult to manage such a complex system. In such a scenario Observability platform will greatly help organisations in managing their on-cloud infrastructures.

These days AWS is the most used cloud platform followed by Google Platform and Microsoft Azure is at the third position in the uses list. All the cloud platforms provide Kubernetes as a managed service. OpsCruise kubernetes Observability platform will help manage applications running on Kubernetes clusters of these cloud providers.
