Ericsson opens Artificial Intelligence Lab in Bengaluru to hire 150 engineers in 2019

Ericsson opens a new Artificial Intelligence research centre in Bengaluru to focus on the development of of AI automation solutions. Swedish telecom will hire 150 data scientists and machine learning engineers in 2019 for their new centre.

Company announced to globally hire 300 engineers/data scientists/ML  & AI architect for Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning research.

Swedish telecom giant Ericsson will explore their partnership with telecom companies, stockholders, AI startups and academic experts to maximize the benefits of these technologies.

With this company will accelerate the AI/ML technologies to create innovative solutions for industry. Company will research these technologies to develop robust system for automation, data-driven intelligent applications and integrated solutions for industries.

According to information released by company, Ericsson is working on several projects to bring AI and Automation capabilities to their product portfolio.

According to Ericsson R&D Bengaluru head Sanjeev Tyagi, Company will develop innovative solutions which will be easy to use, adapt and scale to meet customer satisfaction.

There is huge opportunity in this field. The invention of 5G and IoT technologies are fuelling the growth of industry.  The traditional solutions won’t be able to handle this growth and AI/ML technologies are only solution these days.

With the huge growth of Big Data, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies; companies around the world is looking towards latest innovative software solutions to sustain technologies changes.
