Deloitte one of the “Big Four” accounting firm partnered with Chicago-based Blockchain start-up Attest for the development of blockchain-based digital identity system. Company announced this deal on November 5, by press release.
Attest is Chicago-based software firm which provides Blockchain-based digital identity management system. Solution from this company allows the companies to use its shared identity platform for conducting transactions. In recent yearly there is huge demand of various Blockchain based software solutions. The Blockchain based user-identity management is one of the most sought applications needed by business around the world.
Attest’s Blockchain based digital identity management system is used by the customers of the Government to offer citizen identity management system. Attest will develop application for Deloitte which will be based on the current product of Attest and will be used by Attest clients.
Attest will first develop Attest wallet application under the terms of this contract which will be used by Deloitte. The Attest Wallet is Blockchain based identity-management software which is like cryptocurrency wallet. This wallet application will be used by customers to all its Digital identity at one place. This wallet will allow user to access all its digital entity at one place round the clock.
The second solution from Attest Enterprise comes with the API (Application Programming Interfaces) for allowing users to validate their identity, authorize third parties and authorize consent for managing data on behalf of third party. This application is for enterprise which manages many work/data for user on getting their consent.
Wendy Henry, managing director, Deloitte Consulting LLP, said “While many companies are looking at using a personal wallet in which the individual has control of their digital identity credential, government must serve the whole of citizens, including those who may not be able to accept the control of their identity credential in a digital form.”
Deloitte is popular accounting firm in the world which is partnered with Attest for development of digital identity management system using latest Blockchain technologies. In recent years Blockchain technology has become very popular due its non-mutable properties. Companies are using this technology to develop Banking, Finance and many other applications.
As per the last month announcement Deloitte identified areas for wide adoption of Blockchain technology.
